In our gathering of Christian believers, the men of the church read a passage of scripture and then lead the congregation in a prayer that is a reflection of the passage. Yesterday was my turn. The following is the prayer related to the passage above.

So, one of the first things I did when I started this blog is to try to find a blog editor that would allow me to write my blog entries without being “on the web” While both blogger (my previous platform) and WordPress (my current platform) have a pretty respectable WYSIWYG editor available. I wanted something with a little more power.

Today, I got another bit of SPAM in my mailbox about how the sky is falling because people want to redefine what marriage is. Besides the fact that I was SPAM’d about the issue, the thing that bothers me most is that this is the issue they are focusing on.
Folks, redefining marriage isn’t the issue. In fact, redefining marriage will have absolutely NO impact on the future of our country, or the world at large.
